Full Day City and Canal Tour

Pick up a the Hotel and ride to the most attractive and interesting sites of the Capital City, including the ruins of Old Panama City, that were destroyed by pirate Henry Morgan in 1671. Continue to the Colonial City or "Casco Viejo", built in 1673, with special architecture, and where French workers, leaded by Ferdinand de Lesseps that initiated the project of the Panama Canal, had their homes. Watch some of our heritage in this area. Visit the unique Panama Canal Inter-oceanic Museum where ancient pieces related with the Panama Canal have been collected. When lunchtime approaches, go to enjoy a delicious Panamanian lunch at a prestigious typical restaurant. After lunch, visit the modern city. You will ride to the enchanted Balboa area, which is a residential area of the Panama Canal Zone, reverted to Panama. Admire the Panama Canal Administration Building on a hill and then, visit the Handicrafts Market. Finally head to Miraflores Locks where vessels, if we are very lucky, we will have the chance to see them while transiting the Locks. Watch the audiovisual prepared by the Panama Canal Commission, where the operation of this important Inter-oceanic waterway is properly explained in every detail.

Half Day City and Canal Tour

Guided trip to the most important places and characteristics of Panama. You will have a pretty good vision of Old Panama City, the Colonial or "Casco Viejo" and the modern areas of Panama.
Walk around Old Panama City, destroyed by pirate Henry Morgan in 1671; buy souvenirs at the Handicrafts Market there. The tour continuous to the traditional and commercial areas, banking area, and the modern Panama City. Then, we are going to Colonial area or "Casco Viejo" through the stretched streets, plazas and public parks, where still conserve part of our history, as France Plaza, Las Bovedas, San Jose Church , with it's wonderful altar (all made of gold), the Flat Arc, and Catedral Church, as others.
Also, you will appreciate the biggest engineering structure of this century, considered the "Marvel of the World Number 8". Learn about it's function and history. If we have good luck, we will see the vessels as they transit through the Miraflores Locks at the Panama Canal.
Return to the hotel at noon.

Chiva Parrandera Night Tour (Partying Bar-Hopping Bus) It does not run every day so please doble check for availability or a cancellation on the date of your choice.

This particular tour begins at 7:45 p.m.pickin you up from your hotel, and has very special characteristics. This kind of tour is perfect for those who like to make new friends, enjoy music, have some drinks, visit interesting places and release stress.
The Chiva Parrandera is the partying bus, and was specially designed to carry a Murga Band (typical Panamanian band), that plays latin and salsa music, in it's rear seats. All the other seats have a bar system that holds glasses and bottles in order not to loose even a drop of the open bar of Rum and Seco (a Panamanian spirituous drink) included in the tour.
Visit the main attractive zones of the City while you drink, dance and meet new friends. Our tour guide will be pleasured to suggest the hottest discos and clubs in town to continue the party after midnight when the tour is over.

Folkloric Night Show and Dinner

Panama has been the melting pot for several cultures. Originally, the native indian groups created their acoustic instrument using parts of plants and shells of different animals, then the Spanish conquerors brought their influence from the Old World. The Afro-caribbeans also contributed on it, when they came for the Canal construction, and some other small groups gave birth to, what is today, one the most attractive and folkloric heritages of Latin America. The show is fully allegoric with typical acoustic music and musicians. A group of dancers, where women wear the unique "Pollera", a hand made cotton dress complemented with precious body and head jewelry which is exhibited while they dance. Men’ typical attire is relatively simple. However, their hats are finely hand-made by excellent artisans that spend even weeks in only one piece. Their cotton shirts boast golden or pearl bottoms. Just picture this fabulous show while tasting our excellent Panamanian cuisine.

Visit to Mi Pueblito

This interesting tour has the particularity to give you the opportunity to know and learn about our cultural heritage, among the reply of the most important ethnic groups of our country. This center is located on the base of Ancon Hill, and shows a scene that permits to have a great vision of the traditions of our ancestors, making you participate on the dances and enjoying with the products of their culinary arts.
