FISHING IN PANAMA
Panama is worldwide recognized as sport fishing paradise. Its yearly-fishing contests have established several important world records and world-class sport fishermen dream about coming to this country to have a top of the line fishing experience.
Fishing in Panama Bay

It is said that the word Panama, in an Indian dialect, means abundance of fishes and, definitely, the oceans of Panama, due to the geographical location the isthmus, reef systems, archipelagos and water currents that hit both coasts, boasts abundant marine life. This day, we leave the hotel early to embark our boat to navigate along the Pearl Archipelago. Our captain will take to the best fishing spots to make the day much more richer.
By noontime, we will head to Taboga Island, known as the Island of the flowers due to its constantly blooming flora. Fresh seafood lunch will be served here. Explore the Island and swim in its splendid beaches.
The tour includes: land transfers, well equipped boats, captain, maid, snacks soft drinks, lunch, fishing equipment, baits, and fuel.
This is an outdoor activity, sunscreen, light clothes, and comfortable shoes or sandals are suggested.
Peacock Bass Fishing in the Panama Canal
Lenght: 8 hours

In the early 60s the Peacock Bass was seeded into the Gatun Lake in the Panama Canal. Today, its population is abundant, reason why this day will guarantee great fishing. Leaving Panama at 6:00 a.m. head to the town of Gamboa to aboard your boat. For better fishing chances, your captain will take you to the lake’s coves where you will be able to admire the rainforest and wildlife from your boat. Return around 1:00 p.m.
The price includes: ground transportation, captain and boat, fishing equipment, 50 baits, lunch, snacks and soft drinks and a boat ride in the Panama Canal.
